Sarah WalkerI am a twenty something photographer new to the Portland area from Maine. After I recieved my BFA from the University of Southern Maine I "floated" around for a couple of years and ended up here in Oregon. My primary intersts in photography are travel and portraiture/fashion. I love to go to new places and explore other cultures and ideas. I am very interested in the idea that photography is widely percieved as a truth telling device, yet it often only tells part of a truth. Especially when the viewer is left to determine for themselves that what they are looking at is real or not. I am attracted to color relationships within my images, and to wide open spaces. My dream is to travel the world and record the things I see, true or not. |
